Getting Around
Airport Transfers
Our concierge can arrange airport transfers for you via our partner in Marigot Bay. Please just request this at your earliest convenience.

The main international airport, Hewanorra International Airport, is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes to the villa.
Car Hire
Car hire can be arranged via our concierge with our partner in Marigot Bay, and can either greet you at the airport or be delivered to the villa.
Car hire can be arranged for all or part of your trip.

A 4WD / 4x4 is recommended for the hilly roads; and note driving is on the left hand side in St Lucia the same as the UK.
Taxis
Taxi hire is either available via our concierge who will arrange a dedicated driver for your stay (Moses) or there is a Taxi Service available from Marigot Bay.
Taxis are useful for the short taxi rides from the harbour front to the villa - a 3 minute drive or a long walk!, or for longer trips to sightseeing locations or for supermarket trips.

Approved taxis will have "TX" as the prefix on the license plate.
Other modes of transport
Walking, boat hire, and local mini-buses are all other types of transport on St Lucia.
​
Take care when walking on roads without sidewalks / pavements and note the roads can be quite steep.
​
Local mini-buses will stop at the side of the road, and used mainly by locals to travel to work and the markets.
​
A boat trip is a great way to see the island, and a free ferry will take you across Marigot Bay to JJs Mangrove bar, Doolittle's bar and the beach.
